IRS Update: 2026 Contribution Limits

The IRS released the 2026 Health FSAs, Commuter Benefits, Adoption Assistance, and QSEHRA maximum contribution limits.

 

For Health FSA plans that permit the carryover of unused amounts, the maximum carryover amount for 2026 is $680, an increase of $20 from the 2025 carryover limit.​​​​​​
