CDH Claims Processor/Customer Service Representative
Training Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00-4:30pm
Post Training Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:30-6pm, Friday 8:30-5pm
Location: Wichita, KS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent; minimum two years office experience, with strong customer service and/or claims processing experience preferred with excellent communications and general computer skills.
Answering customer calls and/or written inquiries for the purpose of sharing and obtaining information. Tasks may include retrieving files and other information.
Documents calls and requests for the purpose of recording contact, type of call, and resolution. Tasks may include call tracking, completing forms, and directing requests to the appropriate department.
Performs claims processing procedures, including but not limited to, entry of claims, approving substantiated claims, denying claims for lack of or improper documentation, processing suspension of debit cards, requesting information from consumers, activating debit cards, sending out refund requests, quarterly statements, and other communications as needed. Uses the internal imaging system to properly record and store claims information necessary for future audits.
